University of Cambridge, 6-7 April 2009. More information can be found at: http://www.unesco.org/archives/

Editor Pierre-Yves Saunier and contributor Glenda Sluga will be in attendance and hope to have the opportunity of meeting more colleagues at the event.

January 2009

We are delighted to say that the Dictionary has now been published and that the copies reached our warehouse several weeks ahead of schedule.

The publication of the Dictionary was celebrated at AHA and on 3rd January we hosted a cocktail party in our historic Flatiron Building in New York. The event was a collaboration between Palgrave Macmillan, Bedford Freeman Worth and the Macmillan trade group and brought together hundreds of historians, including the Editors, some of the Associate Editors and Contributors to the Dictionary and some of our Editors from the Transnational History series.

A few advance copies of the Dictionary were available for inspection at the party and at our stand at AHA itself. In fact, they proved so popular that a few of these were sold to eager people keen to get their hands on one of the very first copies.

Thank you to all of you who were able to attend.

We would be delighted to hear from people who are using the Dictionary in their lectures and you can read a piece on this subject written by Editor Akira Iriye by clicking here.
